I've been M.I.A. for quite some time now, dealing with work, life, family, etc. But I'm jumping back on the blog wagon. I'm going to be doing a three part 'While I've Been Away' series of post. These post consist of pictures I've taken on my hiatus, mainly from Instagram. I hope ya'll enjoy.

Ball Cap

Lately I've been loving this leatherette ball cap I picked up from Cotton On for only $8! It's great on days where I do not feel like doing my hair. And it matches with so many different things. Here are two outfits I paired it with over the past few days.

In this outfit I paired my cap with a few basics. A basic denim vest, black dress and grey boots. It fits so well with the plain layering look of the outfit.

I also paired it with these uber cute high waisted shorts and even cuter skull printed crop top. In this look it added to the edginess that the skull top already gave to the outfit.

I love being able to layer! The weather here in Jacksonville has been in the lower 80's, which is a nice change from the normal scorching hot summer days we have. I've been taking advantage of the slightly chiller weather to start layering. Obviously I love this vest. I've worn it in a few posts, but it goes so well with everything. Just like my cheetah scarf and loafers! I can pair them both with so many things. Also I thought the studded belt added a nice little extra detail. What do y'all think?

I hope everyone is having a great week so far. Happy Humpday! I've been sick most of the week hence my lack of updates, but this is what I wore today. I love the rocker vibe of this outfit. It's different than most of my outfit post I do, which fall more into the girly category. But it's a fun, edgy, relaxed outfit. I hope you guys like it.
