Draping

This is just a quick post of wait I wore today to hang out with a friend. Its a really great dress from Simply Vera by Vera Wang at Kohls. I got it on clearance for only $5.40! I couldn't pass it up! I love the draping details in this dress and I also love how comfortable it is. My sandals are from Forever21 as well as my clutch. The weather down here in Jax, Fl has been horrible so I had to take these pictures inside. Sorry about the quality. Anyways I hope everyone is having a great week so far!

Out running errands and having lunch with a friend today, so I wanted to wear something quick and easy. Isn't this Simply Vera Dress great! It's actually supposed to be a tank tunic, but I'm short, it's long, and the weather is in the 90's her in Jax today. But anyways happy Friday everyone!

Comfy Cool

Since I had to work today I wanted to wear something comfortable but not too lazy looking. I picked up this maxi skirt from Kohls a few days ago for only $5! The kangaroo pocket gives it a sporty vibe. You can't really tell from the pictures but it has an ever so slight hi-low hem on the ruffle at the bottom. And this is my goto casual top! It's a great neutral color so it goes with everything. It has such a flattering shape. These canvas sneakers from Forever21 are so fun. I don't wear them too often but they added a cool vibe to my outfit today.

Asos Wants

So sorry for my lack of post! Life has been hectic. I have been sick, started a new job and on top of that one of my best friends just had her first child. But don't worry I will be back up on my normal schedule soon.

Anyways here are a few of my current wants from Asos.com. They have so much great stuff!! But I narrowed it down to a few must haves that I am really craving. I am loving prints right now. Beachy prints, food prints, animal prints, geo prints, you name it, I'm loving it. Wedge sneakers are a must this season but I have been having such a hard time finding a pair I really like. I think these floral print babies might be the ones.

And how awesome are those studded canvas shoes! But not the price tag! I'm thinking of trying a DIY project!! Well I hope everyone is having a great week! Love ya.

Black, White & Lace

I love layering! But living in this Florida heat, it's not so easy to do. But today it was in the lower 80's so I decided to do some light layers. Like I've said before my color palette generally goes towards the darker colors, but white and black is a usual color scheme for me. I love this lace dress from Forever 21. It's a little short for my taste so I wore it as a top, but it looks great either way. And I'm still adoring these wedges I got last week. So comfortable. Lately I have been throwing a bit for brown/tan into my outfits that I normally wouldn't, but I think it adds such a nice pop. I'm not afraid to mix black & brown.
Well I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I sure am! Oh, and Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there.

Aren't these green pants amazing?! I bought them not to long ago from Forever 21 but this is the first time I've worn them. They are so fun and comfortable! And green! Reminds me of the Hulk.

Speaking of the Hulk, if any hasn't seen The Avengers yet, go, now! It's awesome. I'm off for a girls day, so I hope everyone else is having an awesome Wednesday too.

Day & Night

I put these two outfits together with some of my favorite items from Kohls. The spring dress look is a great daytime look and the blazer & shorts is great for a night out. I fractured a bone in my foot a few months ago, so I mainly wear sandals or flats, which is why i love these leopard flats, but I have been slowly trying to transition back into heels. These scalloped edge wedges are perfect! Kohls has some really great brands like Simply Vera, LC by Lauren Conrad, Elle and so many more. And not to mention great sales all the time!

I love this deep blue hi-low dress! It was a great buy from Forever21 for only about $15. You can't beat that! Its prefect for this unpredictable Florida weather. My pink tote was actually one of those free giveaway bags a Victoria's Secret. But it is too cute, I use it all the time. You can never go wrong with gold accessories. I wore this gold necklace from Forever21 a bout a week or so ago, but its such a fun piece, I love wearing it. I am all about shopping on a budget, and this is a prefect example of a low priced outfit!
